HELP FAQ

Whenever there are issues with our launcher, try the following.

-Reboot and retry

-Try a new user account

-Sometimes launcher looks stuck, but it just needs time

-Launcher may be slow if your PC has a single-core CPU

-Launcher may be slow if your PC doesn't use SSD as an installation drive

-Launcher may be slow if your internet connection is unstable

-Disable Antivirus right before extracting launcher from Launcher.rar file. Some antivirus erroneously sees our launcher as harmful; It's not.

- Execute launcher multiple times before giving up; sometimes it has troubles connecting to file servers due to overload or latency

-If nothing works, contact us on discord!

3D ISSUES (CLICK HERE)

It could happen that sometimes the game fails to render NPCs or map objects, if this happens, simply restart the launcher several times until the issue is gone.

If nothing works, try the following:

-Download Microsoft directx9 update c at this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

-Try to execute the game from another user account

-Update/downgrade graphic card drivers

-Install Nvidia drivers version 472.12 if you're on Nvidia compatible GPU

Battle System

COMMANDS

Battle is semi-automatic. It's possible to move clicking the field and using F1-12 to cast Special Abilities onto the targeted enemy.

Normal Attacks

While holding a weapon or empty handed you can cast Normal Attacks onto selected targets, these inflict minor damage but are rules by Attack Speed (ASPD) which increases its motion speed. This kind of attack is reduced by target's Normal Defense (DEF).

Special Attacks

A Special Attack is every attack that's not Normal Attacks. Special Attacks, like Normal Attacks use POWER to increase efffectiveness and their damage is reduced by target's S.DEF (Special Defense).

Combo Attacks

A Combo Attack is a Special Attack that uses Attack Speed instead of Cooldown. This type of attack is categorized as Special Attack and thus its damage is reduced by SDEF(Special Defense). Combo attacks can be seamlessly integrated with timing while using Normal or Special Attacks to create unlimited chains of lethal hits

Combat Mode

While this mode is active you can move with WASD keys. A new menu entry "Combat Mode" allows to lock chat box and enable WASD movements. This mode is complex to use at this time and is considered an alpha state.

CHARACTER RACES

In tales of pirates 3
there are four player races:

Ami, the little girl
Carsise, the muscle man
Phyllis, the young woman
Lance, the young pal

There is no physical difference in attributes amongst the playable races, however, Ami and Carsise suffer certain Weapon Usage Restrictions .

Ami Race can wield Daggers and Rods\Staffs.
Carsise can wield every weapon except bows and guns.
Phyllis can wield all weapons.
Lance can wield all weapons.

CHARACTER STATUS

Character gains experience by defeating PvE contents,. Every new level up a player character's given with 2 Main Status Point (Main Attributes) to freely distribute on the character's stats; every stat's capped at 150

STAT POINTS: 2 per level up
SKILL POINT: 1 per level up
CAP: MAX CHA LEVEL 45
CAP: MAX PET LEVEL 41

POW, your character's Min & Max ATK depends on this attribute [APPLIES TO ALL WEAPONS]

AGI, your character's Block and Attack Speed depend on this attribute

SPR, your character's Special Defense and Maximum SP depends on this attribute

ACC, your character's Hit Rate and Perfect Hits Chance depends on this attribute

CON, your character's Normal Defense and Maximum HP depends on this attribute

It is important to note that character's Status, Sub Attributes, Equipment, Accessories & Abilities should match a specific goal to be effective!

STARTER TIPS

Character gains experience by defeating PvE contents and opening Treasure Chests!

It is suggested to farm monsters above level 20 for a greater chance of dropping more valuable loots.

It is suggested to invest in AGI and POW and Dual Wielding for faster PvE kills.

Did you know? Any drop from monsters, even low level ones, can be sold for 100 to 1000 golds at NPC!

Leveling? Just adventure in ascaron's outskirts, as you progress with main quest you're automatically sent towards most appropriate areas for your character's level.

Any class can purchase and learn the Skill "HEAL"; not just Herbalist! Support yourself or your team in battle with this knowledge.

Any class can obtain Attack Bonus from increasing POW, even if you're using a Bow or Gun weapon!
